Foot & Ankle Conditions We Treat

  • Medical professional in blue scrubs and white gloves examining a patient's arm by applying pressure with their hands.

    Diabetic Foot Care

Diabetic foot care is essential to prevent serious complications such as ulcers, infections, and amputations. Regular checkups help detect issues early and protect long-term mobility and health.

  • Close-up of a person's thumbnail and part of the index finger showing natural skin and nail.

    Ingrown Nails

An ingrown toenail occurs when the edge of the nail grows into the surrounding skin, causing pain, swelling, and infection. Prompt evaluation and care by a podiatrist can prevent worsening infection and ensure proper healing.

  • Close-up of a human hand with a red, inflamed bump or blister on the palm near the base of the thumb.

    Foot Ulcers

A foot ulcer is an open wound on the foot, ankle, or leg. Without proper treatment, foot ulcers can become infected and lead to serious complications, including amputation. Prompt medical care is essential to promote healing, prevent infection, and preserve foot function.

  • Close-up of a person's bare foot, focusing on the heel and part of the ankle.

    Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar fasciitis is inflammation of the plantar fascia ligament that runs along the bottom of the foot, causing heel and arch pain. Early intervention and medical care helps reduce pain and prevent altered gait pattern which can cause knee, hip, and back pain.

  • Close-up of a foot with a bunion on the big toe.

    Bunions

A bunion is a bump that forms at the base of the big toe. This misalignment can lead to pain, swelling, and difficulty wearing certain shoes. When conservative care fails, surgical correction can realign the joint, relieve discomfort, and restore foot function.

    Ankle Sprains

An ankle sprain occurs when the ligaments supporting the ankle are stretched or torn, usually due to twisting or rolling the foot inward. Prompt evaluation and care is needed to reduce swelling, restore function, and prevent long-term complications.

    Fracture Care

A fracture is a break in the continuity of a bone, often caused by trauma, overuse, or pathological weakening. Prompt treatment is necessary to ensure proper alignment, healing, and restoration of function.

  • A healthcare professional wearing white gloves examining a patient's arm during a medical consultation.

    Geriatric Foot Care

Foot and ankle problems become more common as we age. Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) is a significant conern. This makes geriatric foot care essential to prevent serious complications such as chronic pain, infections, and amputations.

FAQs

What do I need to bring to my first appointment?

For your first visit to Foot Restore Podiatry, please bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card (unless paying cash), and a list of current medications. If you have any relevant medical records, imaging, or referral notes, bringing those can help us better understand your condition. We also recommend wearing or bringing the shoes you use most often so we can assess your foot mechanics. If you have an ingrown nail, sandals are recommended.

Please arrive 30 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork and ensure you are seen at your scheduled appointment time. To save time, you can also print and fill out our new patient forms in advance from our website.

Do we accept cash payment?

Foot Restore Podiatry accepts cash payment. Paying in cash often allows for quicker service, as there's no need to wait for insurance authorizations or approvals. It also offers greater privacy, fewer billing hassles, and can sometimes reduce out-of-pocket costs compared to high insurance deductibles. Cash payments give patients more control and flexibility over their care.

Do we perform house calls/in-home treatment?

Yes, Foot Restore Podiatry can offer house calls for patients who prefer or require care in the comfort of their own home. This is ideal for individuals with limited mobility, busy schedules, or those seeking a more private setting. House calls incur an additional cost but provide the same high-quality podiatric care you’d receive in our office. Contact us to learn more or to request a home visit.
